Here's a post from another board I've been following. This guy was just as anti bush as Lenny from this board, maybe even more so, and he also used Michael Moore as his main source of information until he learned better.

Its been a while since I checked the board, had to build a new 'puter.
Since that time quite a few things have happened.
I have watched both the democratic and republican conventions.
It was wonderful to finally hear the president and his opponent speak directly about their ideals, issues, and each other. Finally, I thought, as I watched both of them.
Interesting side note- both groups are teaming up to defeat the 527 group, the group running those malicious ads.
Now, I know Ek-ka-Bang is going to crap himself, as I did.
I'm voting for bush.
Well, not really, since I live in Texas, my vote doesn't matter anyways, and if bush doesn't win the Texas electoral vote, then I will bare all and run through the streets of Houston until the police find and beat me.
Anyways, my point:
(And I know that 99% of this board is Republican, and just because I'm voting for bush doesn't mean I'm a Republican.)
I heard from a man with a strong will and clear goals. And that, my friends, and my enemies, is a Leader. The reason I'd like to re-elect bush was made clear at the Rep. Convention. Aside from all the 9-11 tearjerking, there was clearly spelled out goals of the administration, and clearly spelled out rebuttal's to Kerry's.
Up until watching that, I had no idea that 10 million people registered to vote in Afghanistan, and if that doesn't show that what bush is doing is the right thing, then nothing will.
Do something!
That was the cheer of the Rep. convention, and one that struck my heart. We could very well sit and let the world destroy itself, but why should we when we have the ability to at least try and stop it?
Anyways, ALOT of things became very clear to me after hearing bush speak. And if you missed it, you can find copies of it online.
Its worth watching. It changed my perspective on my president, and even more so on his opponent, and my former candidate.
Although I don't agree with it all, all I have to say is...
Four more years.
