I was there all the years Lou bowled action. I can tell you this, Lou backed down to no one and thought he could beat anyone, which he usually did.
For whatever it might mean, The Horn, Rags, Roth, Santini, and a host of other great bowlers all thought Lou was a real comer, a real talent.

I've never heard one class bowler knock Lou, they all praise him. The guys that due knock him are just a bunch of second rate bowlers and second rate human-beings that envy the life Lou lives...

Lou just made it look so easy. He constantly shoved his ball dead center in the pocket, it's like he didn't even have to try.

a motion picture should be made about lou's early life. it would be great and full of excitment. lou was the man - pure electricity everytime he just walked into maple, wow, what a guy.

wouldn't it be nice if kidder, horn, daly, snake and the rest posted there story's too. so if anyone see's them ask them to post.
best food at maple was everything!!!!!!!!
best snack bar ever. my hats off to nick,pete,gus, and there staff.

how about my friend scott, when he was a kid he would have 1 or 2 roast beef sandwiches & fries, then go home for dinner...... I ate there almost every nite when i was a kid. sunday mornings were fun at maple, val, tom cammillari,vin lautato joe an, billy picone, simo sr.
nicky santagata,scott, and a host of other good bowlers lining up to bowl pot games. thats where i learned alot. picone, simo,tommy ca, they would always give you advice. it was a great place to grow up.also never knowing if rags would pop in,sometimes with dave davis,skee forimski,jack biondalillo,dennis swayda.
man it was a bowlers dream. the best part was when i finally got out there on tour,and bowled against those guys.it was a great time for me. and to the morons who post crap about me on here. win a pba event spend 2 and a 1/2 years on tour.with the greatest bowlers in the world and have the time of your life, then knock me. I got to hang out with earl,rags,roth holman,weber,pete and dick and john,godman,berardi,certain,aulby. WOW. NOW I KNOW WHY THEY ARE JEALOUS.

THATS NICE LOU BUT YOU DID SQUAT ON TOUR. WHAT DID YOU DO, CARRY THOSE GUYS BALLS. YOU SUCKED FOR 2 AND A HALF YEARS ON TOUR. ANYONE CAN GO OUT AND SUCK. WHAT DID YOU ACCOMPLISH?

cashed 1 out 6 or 7 made a few finals. won a regional,made 6 or 7 other finals. oh yea the real question is what did you do out there? most 18 year old's could of only dream of that kind of fun matter of fact you wish you could have done it. but you didnt and i did hahahahahahaha

Big Lou hung out with all the top pros when he was out there. BIG DEAL. Now if you told me you hung out with some of the prettiest women around Hollywood, I would be impressed. hanging out with a bunch of guys, makes you wonder.
