sunday's scores 860-875 was the low cut scores.
i know soto crushed them 1058, frazzetto, 969, zimmerman,950's serrapica,923 volk,920. that's all i know.
it wasn't as easy as everyone is making it out to be, but it's definately not impossible either.

If the lanes were not that easy, unless this guy is jesus in disguise how the hell did he shoot 1050? The cut 860. yeah I'm sure they were tough like last year. This is not the tour where some animal can score high on hard condition. Shit block makes no sense.

runt, you never bowled in a tournament were someone had the nut reaction and everyone else struggled? then again we don't even know if u bowl at all!!! what i was saying is that a couple people had an ok reaction, but soto had the nut reaction.
the lanes fit his style perfectly, get in and hook the shit out of it. there was ob outside on the left and right so you had to be precise. he obviously never leaked it.
frazetto hard up 6 fit his game, actually he was in the nosebleed section. usually plays 4, just kiddin steve.
most everyone else went in out and was dead.
on the left serrapica was playin hard up8-9 with urethane dull. another lefty sqweaked in with 863. hookin it.
the people who play straight have a better look in my opinion, but if u can hook it and not leak it or yank it to much your carry is better. again in my opinion

the bottom line shit face is that the shot is outside. And the scoring is high from the outside. So if you like to start inside, tough nookies. Any shot is difficult if you do not play the right line. This weekend I'm sure you will see more big scores when the better bowlers are here. I learned all this from reading bowling books.

Wait. Forget the above. I think I'm confused as usual. You stated no ob on either side. That means you can hook as far right or left as you want and you will get to the pocket. Not too difficult to strike.

anything outside 5 down the lane on both sides Does this tourney has a website? Is there a dress code to bowl (collared shirt, no jeans, etc)?

no website, no dress code. one thing i can tell you is if u bowl, bring at least an extra shirt because it's HOT AS BALLS!!! garden city seems not to have a/c or air coming our of the ball returns.

So you can wheel out to five. Not too difficult shit face. Now if the ob was ten to ten or even to eight that's another story. Dress code. None. You can bowl in shorts with no underwear. Just give Lustig the cash, that's all he is concerned with.

it depends how u throw it, if ur straight five out is ob. if u curve it it's more like 7-8 lots of 2-8-10's.
besides, runt u don't bowl anyway, why the hell do u care?

What balls. It takes stupidity to throw away your money if you can't compete.

2nd weekend- low 900's winning squads, 850's advancing. shot played tougher, this was the intended pattern Jim wanted; not the high scoring crap from the 1st weekend. missed cut by 3 sticks

Incredible game. BG opened with front five, Soto threw split and down by 53 going into the sixth. Doubles, leaves stone shaking 9 and throws a triple and nine for 225. Boghosian misses 3/9 in the seventh, and needs a mark in the tenth for the win. he was on a strike and threw a jersey for the win. I left. So he either shot in the 230s or 240s if he threw the double. Soto the unknown from the BRONX was very impressive after being dead at the halfway point. Who is this guy?
