Brian was pretty tough. He came down quite often from Conn with Billy Spigner who was not quite that good in those days. Think it was booze not drugs that did him in. He disappeared in the wind well over 20 years ago.

Never hit Conn. Jersey and new york only. Anywhere from plaza lanes in jersey to as far as farmingdale in NY. Never knew Willie Willis came to Fiesta. Probably did not know him then. And I rarely missed a weekend for about five years.

Hey I don't know if anyone is going to be reading this since the original post was posted 4 years ago, but I'm Brien Hayes's daughter. I would love it if he could reconnect with some old friends. He's pretty lonely these days. Thanks, Lola

I Knew your dad. Lots of action every night after midnight in the early seventies at Fiesta Lanes in the bronx. Your dad was a pretty good bowler, 200+ excellent in those days and a pretty good bettor. I remember beating him for one night for some money. Not bowling against him. He was better. He just bet against me in a match.Hope he's ok now. Hears he had problems with the bottle many years ago.

I remember your dad, the NEBA win against Jim Byrne in Springfield. I gained alot of respect and have wondered what happen. I would not go against him and proved right when he crushed my friend Al Brown. He bowled my freind Barry Warshafsky. Barry won the first four and Brien got lined up and took him the next four. I told Barry quit before you lose. I have the upmost respect for him and wish him the best. I will not ever forget him. Very tough in action.
