This thread is for all to let us know what their dream match would be...
In a dream match both bowlers are always to be considered in their prime.
My dream match is the one I mentioned on the other thread
Late sixties, Central Lanes, Rudy Revs vs Iggy Russo.
It's 3am on a Saturday night at Central, Rudy already had made his grand entrance when Iggy walks through the door, goes straight over to Rudy, and in his high bitched voice says, hey fat boy, what da say we bowl a few.
What would be the end result?

I think Iggy and Rudy would of split 22 games.
One of my dream match's would of been two guys from the same era.
Bee Bee Notaro vs Tommy Dinardo at Old Parkway Lanes (Louisana Lanes) on 86th St.
Also Bert Goodman vs Iggy at New Parkway Lanes on Cropsey Ave.

#1 match between tommy d and beebee , would be lefty righty and depending on the pairs and the house for edge beebee, most houses. #2 iggy vs bert 1959 both in their prime, iggy challenges the house on friday night after the singles classic and nobody including bert wanted any part of iggy, including joe s jimmy allen ermo who was the best in the house , and so iggy bowled for score 120 on the nose and you could read that result in one of the stories i wrote yes iggy picked up a few hundred in back to back games of 120. #3 if your talking iggy vs rudy on a wall its rudy on a grind its iggy simple as that horses for courses, although iggy could average 250 on a wall and not win a game as can be attested by one of my stories where i backed rudy in miami 45 strikes in a row 5 games 5 different pair 3 10 wood flat bottoms dead side boards, deep gutters plastic ball, but when it came to shot making and spare making no contest, although you could see rudy win his share of games in 10 different houses in the old days the cane

I could be wrong, I think BeeBee was a really good and dangerous action bowler but not part of the main action scene.
I don't recall ever seeing him at the main houses like Seaview, Colony, Kings, Ave M, etc. Did he ever bowl the top or close to top action bowlers.
Same goes for Tommy D who was really coming into his own before he got injured.
