Not really, at least not in the city and Long Island.I'm sure you've got the house mice bowling $5 pot games after their leagues, but not like it used to be when action shooters would come from all over and meet at a designated house and take on all comers.Last year there was some action at Sheridan Lanes on Monday nights,Billy Red,Scianna,Pappas,Fagan,Ginsberg jr,Cavagnaro. At first the scores were through the roof,a real shootout on the house shot, then someone got the idea to make them impossible. This lasted for a couple of weeks, then frustration took over,I guess, because as quick as it started, thats how quick it stopped. In the old days,it didn't make a differance if you shot 160 or 260 as long as you got the W. I'm assuming that it doesn't work that way with todays modern ACTION BOWLER!!!!! Lets hope Bowling comes to its senses and puts the INTEGRITY back in the game.
