I couldn't believe I was finally excepted for membership in the one and only ActionBowlers.com
I heard about this site joined up to shoot the shit with some real action bowlers from the days when it was real. I was broken hearted when I couldn't get in.
I've spent the last 2 months checking out this site and forum, it's blowing my mind. This is the best find of my life and I really mean that.
On the intire world wide web this is the only site that has all these great, and I mean great action stories. I think maybe I died and went to heaven. I never thought I would come across all this information about the greatest era of bowling, the sixties and seventies. Man I'll tell yea I'm cumming in my pants. This is truly a great site. It should be put in some sorta hall of fame.
I wasn't a bowler myself but was around the brooklyn action scene of the sixties. Leader lanes, Windsor, Bedford Bowl, the one and only Ave M, and all the rest.
I can't believe how all the great action bowlers from that time are talked about on this site. The list is so large and it's all here. Once again, what a great site this is, I'll be back a lot, a real lot...

I just checked all the major search engines again and they came up with a BIG 0 when it comes to action bowling. This site is not only the only one but it's a great site, there's so much here about the great days of the past it's unbelievable.
Never ever let this site go down, it's all we haVE...

Bernie,
Are you still checking out the site? The stories need to be edited and put into a book. Then a video interview type of DVD so the guys can tell their stories in person, that would be something.
Later.

Harry, that would be great, if anyone ever wanted to work on a project like that they would have my full cooperation and permission to use anything from this site.
There's still plenty of guys around that could contribute like the Horn, the cane, Lemon, Kidder, Daley, Rudy, the list goes on and on.
I wish I had the time to do it myself but I don't, it would be a great project for someone, or as a group project...
Butch has about 4 hours of a video interview with Mac & Stoop, It was put on Butch's cable show at the time and there was and still is talk with Newline Cinema about an action Bowling movie...

Sorry it took me so long to read your message. I'm still in touch with Ernie Schlegel, Bob Materasso, Joe Hooks Cirillo, John Massero and others.
We could set up a few days in a central location and I could video tape the stories of all who could get into midtown.
As for New Line, I do business with them.
Send me a personal message so we can discuss this.
