A lot of bowlers came to New Orleans to bowl BOBBY JACKS back in the 70's and a lot of bowlers went home broke,he had ice in his viens. He should be added to the Hall of Fame along with guys like Tim Levron,Duane Troxler at Expressway Lanes,"El Toro" at Bridge Bowl and others. I think the best of times was the 60's and 70's in New Orleans for Action Bowles. You could go any night in any house and they had a game going. Rudy "Rev"s still around and lives in Miss, but don't remember him bowling in the 90's,we had no action back then and still don't have any with only 2 houses around.

A big hi to algiersfats
I hope you turn us on to some action stories from back in the day in your area. I'd love to hear some of them

Bobbie Jacks won a pro stop at 19. Believe he was eventually barred from the pba. He was killed while doing time.
