Glad to see this new board.
What do you guys think of the PBA since the new owners took over.
Which is your favorite, the new PBA, or the old PBA

i enjoyed the old PBA more. I liked the format.I especially liked the National format. 3 Blocks of 8 then an 8 game semi then the finals. anyway happy new years to all and thats my 2 cents.

I have heard from PBA members voicing opinions on how the houses where they hold these events do not recieve much financial benefits that they did in the old PBA. This makes it harder each year to sign up the better houses. The format is different but with less tournaments and the way it can bring peoples careers to an end that might otherwise be still competing. Thanks to the sponsors for keeping it going. I have heard alot of unhappiness over the seniors. The regionals are not very profitable. The payoff is poor and lodging just adds. The best tournament in the East is still NEBA. I think on the + side the competion on the PBA is the best its ever been.

Whow!!! WRW really dominated on the alternating patterns playing both outside using two different reacting balls. Beat PW in the fun match. Also did well with Liz in the mixed tournament. Good times in Reno!! Then it struck. PA had a great sot playing two lines. Seemed unbeatable until the pressure of beating WRW. When WRW thought he had it wrapped up with 1st X in tenth, needing 9+ he leaves 8-10 on the dryer lane !!!!

That was incredible. Probably the only bowler to lose a tournament that way, Also the only bowler to ever make the double nuts on tv.
