lou, please type in your real name. you are not even smart enough to hide your bad spelling. you are jealous no one asks you for stories cause you are a non-entity in this game. my rep is being the biggest winner in the action game. i have bowled and beaten them all and bet my own money. i fear no one and will bowl anyone. i am back and better than ever. this is an open challenge to anyone reading this. lets bowl or shut your mouth and stop typing garbage without telling us who you are. grow a pair of balls.

Billy, how do you rate yourself against Bill Daly as a big time better/backer (gambler)
Have you ever gone against him in any capacity.
How do you rate Rudy vs Jeff
I believe Bill has also backed Rudy, if so, who backed him in bigger matches.
One last question, how do you rate yourself as a bowler vs Joe Scianna

daly was a much bigger backer than me. i am not in the backing business, except when rudy revs bowls. when rudy became the best, jeff was gone already. jeff was great but rudy started something in this game that the best bowlers are all doing today, cupped wrist with a lot of rotation. he changed the game. i also think rudy traveled more for matches and became a legend across the country. the megabucks also helped get his name across the country. jeff didnt have that luxury. they were both great in their own right. i will say though that rudy has been great thru 3 era's-rubber, urethane and resin. he adapted to all the changes. not like somepeople on this board that just complain about the equipment changes. i have gone up against daly many times in the action both with me bowling some of his boys at deer park and also with me betting on rudy against some of his guys. those were the good times. now a days you have kids that don't even have jobs taking shots at the money. there is nothing there to win anymore. they quit 1 or 2 down at the most. you are lucky a to get a $300 bet.

Thank you, I appreciate your well thought out and worded reply, you truly would of loved and been in your glory if you had experienced the 60s, that was an era when most of the bowlers and betters/backers came to bowl and bet, 10 games and much more was the norm not the exception.

BILLY THAT WAS A GOOD ACCURATE ACCOUNT OF TODAY. PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED WHEN I SAY THE GAME IS EASIER TODAY THAN YESTERYEAR BUT IN 1977 I AVG. 204 IN LEAGUE BKLYN 224 IN JERSEY AND 206-207 ON TOUR. I DID NOT BOWL FOR 4 YEARS BUT IN 1986 I COME BACK AND AVG 232 AT RAINBOW. 231 AT MAPLE. SNAKE AND SPALLONE WERE THE SAME AND A SLEW OF 220 BOWLERS. IN 1994 I BOWL 1 YEAR SHOOT 5 300,S AND AGAIN AVG IN THE 230'S THE LANES TODAY ARE BETTER CONDITIONED AND THE BALLS ARE MORE ACCOMADATING TO TODAYS CONDITIONS. RUDY WAS AND IS A GREAT BOWLER CANT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM HIM. HE ALSO WAS THE 2ND TO THROUGH A OVERLY STRONG BALL THE 1ST BEING A BOWLER FROM TENNESSEE NAMED STEVE MARTIN. NOW EVERYONE THROWS THE BOMB AND ITS A MATTER OF CARRY NOT SKILL. THAN AGAIN THATS MY OPINION .

lou, the game is not easier, the scores are higher. there is a difference. the game is actually harder now. there are more angles to play, different type's of surfaces, different oil's, different balls, etc. because the averages went up doesn't mean the game is easier. sometimes the scores are thru the roof, sometimes they are impossible. in the old days the scores were more consistent because you didn't have so many variables to worry about. i know cause i started with rubber and plastic, then used urethane and then resin. the scores are higher for sure but the great bolwers are still the great bowlers. because a bowler averages 210 that doesn't make him as good as the guy who averaged 200 in the 1970's. so stop worrying about the scores and look at your score in relation to everyone elses. my guess is whoever has the higher scores now would have had the higher scores back then.

Billy, you stink, you fall off every shot, you spin the ball and you won't bowl anyone. you will only bowl on your particular shot. stop lying to these people, you are not that good, if you are the best go on tour, you'll probaably do better than your friend rudy. not only that, you are one of the most hated people around the action.

Mike Neumann was just as good as Rudy in the nineties if not better. He won the most as an amateur in that era-well over $1m. went away and came back almost two years ago. Won a megabucks in Vegas this past winter.

Mike Neuman was awesome . I crossed with him in some tournement at carolier around 1994 I was very very impressed. and there are only about 5 bowlers that really impressed me. EVER. I WOULD NOT HAVE BOWLED HIM !!!That in itself is the best compliment I could give someone.nuff said

Neumann bowled in three pba stops and made the top 24 every time. He finished in the top 10 in vegas twice and sixth in carolier in 1997. he did not want to make the show and dumped the last game. if he had made the show and won goodbye megabucks. this from the mouth of neumann.

how was bowling 18 games a mismatch. if it was a mismatch he would be 18 games up. if he didn't throw jersey's for the wheat he would of lost. he beats me once and it gets posted. i guess it is big news cause i never lose. hey rubeo, how come you didn't post the results of my victories against him the 2 previous matches. oh, i forgot, i won thats why.
