Where does he fit with the action guys of the 60's? I never see his name brought up..

He was good but a shade below the likes of Lemingello, hornreich, Schlegel, Engan, Doc Iandoli. A lefty that threw a ton. He had a heart transplant in the 70s and continued to bowl for a few years before his death.

Dick was a character. I knew him and was a gentleman who if asked would always give a tip or 2 on bowling.

He was good friends with my dad, who bowled with him for a few years...
