Me and a friend of mine who both were well off backed Rudy Revs and I to bowl a match . My friend is a millionaire and I am well off so you would think this would keep Rudy honest. I end up bowling in the 220s and Rudy and not bowl low enough to dump the match. I think he ended up with 109 or somewhere about there for us to lose. So he won one game and lost the possibilty of having backers in the future. Made no sense to me and it was in Glen Cove Bowl an Italian based bowling alley where my friend was respected. A bit obvious huh?

Nothing compared to the Iggy and stoop dump well before your time. The year Rudy won the Hoinke he had two backers, each for 100%. One was connected. He was real lucky. They actually let him keep 40g. At times in vegas at the high roller he had ten guys backing him and would lose in the first or second round. And then win the sweepers at times and of course he would not have to split the money. Rudy was the only action bowler that would lose a ton in AC, forget about it and win a lustig next week. Gambling was the downfall of the Horn. Too many stories about Rudy. I could be here all night typing.

Rudy stories are always a plus, if you have a lot of them and want to post some at your leisure I would be happy to create a separate section for them. Rudy called me once to complain I didn't have enough on the site about him, that's when I did this page for him... - www.actionbowlers.com/action/rudy_revs.html

He does not deserve his own section. He dumped one game and lost two backers with a lot of money. I vote for him for most likely to do wrong by his friends or family. When you need to dump to make a few hundred what is your reputation worth? Not much.
