We used to go to LaGuardia in the late 60's. Billy Loes the ex-Dodger pitcher hung out there and bet the action. He shut out the Yankees 2-0 to win the 7th game of the 55 series.
They used to play with the lanes. Ice cream sticks scotch taped about 2/3 the way down. If you threw an outside line the ball just faded away and didn't carry. Only speed and a tight inside line would work. That's if you knew what they did.
